Comparative Study of Curriculum, Pedagogies, and Student Assessment in Master's Level Teacher Education Programs: A Cross-National Analysis

Abstract

Teacher education systems play a crucial role in improving the quality of education and are considered highly important in various countries. This research investigates and compares the teacher education systems in Master's degree programs in four countries: the United States, Canada, England, and Iran. The study focuses on three main aspects: curriculum content, teaching methods, and student assessment. Data was collected from diverse sources, including scientific articles, books, and reliable websites, to provide solutions for enhancing the Master's level teacher education system in Iran. The findings indicate that each country utilizes different approaches and methodologies for teacher education in Master's programs.
